Megan’s Pizza Casserole

I was teaching Callie and Rylee how to fix pizza casserole and Callie said, “Rylee, remember this moment with mommy when you grow up so you can do it with your kids.”

😭😭😭 and moments like this is why being a mom is my favorite job!

Pizza casserole is a fun and yummy, kid friendly meal. All you need is a few simple ingredients. Make it fun and let your kids choose their favorite pizza toppings!

INGREDIENTS

One box of penne or fusilli pasta

One pound ground beef or turkey

2 cups mozzarella cheeze

One chopped green bell pepper (and/or) onion

4 garlic cloves

1/2 teaspoon thyme/oregano or both

salt and pepper to taste

Pepperoni ( use as much as you want)

One jar of your favorite pizza or spaghetti sauce

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

While you are boiling your noodles, brown your ground beef/turkey in a skillet.

Add in your pepper/onion and spices.

Drain water from pasta and grease from ground beef/turkey.

Add both to a casserole dish.

Pour in pizza or spaghetti sauce.

Top with mozzarella cheese and your favorite toppings.

Put in oven and bake for 25 minutes.
